Music and Nature is an open access, peer-reviewed journal. The journal covers a variety of topics in the fields of music from the perspectives of ethnomusicology, history, acoustics, and ecomusicology. Articles are published on a continuous basis. Music and Nature is fully open access (platinum).
Music & Nature Journal covers a wide range of topics and methodologies, including but not limited to:
- Interactions between music, musicians, and the natural environment such as echo, wind, water, flora, and fauna
- Ecomusicological studies with a focus on musical phenomena and sustainability
